Once a month we have our friends from the local radio station KMMT / KHRV come on down to Distant to fire up the record player and play some vinyl, because we all know vinyl records are far more high quality than their digital counterparts!

His music is a unique amalgamation of folk and blues that transcends conventional genres. From Ramblin' folk tunes to intimate acoustic ballads, Alex embodies the imperfections of the human experience, ruminating on the visceral, unknowing, wild moments that make life truly unique.

Cassie has played in various local musical ensembles, including Bodie 601 and The Jaded Haters. She’s currently working on her debut solo EP and playing with The Felt Cutouts.

David Cicoletti has lived in and around the Sierra Nevada and Yosemite foothills for over 30 years, playing in a variety of folks and bluegrass ensembles. A singer, songwriter, and guitar/mandolin player, he has performed at numerous California bluegrass festivals, such as the Grass Valley Bluegrass Festival, Kings River Bluegrass Festival, Strawberry Music Festival, and more.

Local favorite Mike McGuire has performed in front of dozens of people over a dozen times here at Distant Brewing and he plans to entertain a dozen or so more!
