Tracked Out LIVE!
Distant Brewing 568 Old Mammoth Road, Mammoth Lakes, CA, United StatesTracked Out formed when Gibson Collins (a former Crowley resident and lead singer/guitarist) linked up with Mike Bizinski (a longtime June local and bassist) at the Bridgeport open mic while driving down to Mammoth to ski from his new home in Portland. A snowstorm shut down Highway 395 during that trip and Gibson got “stuck” at Mikey’s place. The two spent the week enjoying country club days at June Mountain, lapping the June area backcountry, and jamming out in the evenings after long days of powder skiing. At the beginning of that week, the two friends enjoyed fresh tracks. By the end of the week, everything was “Tracked Out”. When 395 finally reopened, they played a show together at Distant Brewing in Mammoth. Shortly afterwards Mikey brought Mammoth locals Jon Carlton (lead guitarist) and Andrew Jefferson (drums) into the fold and the band was complete. They’re a motley crew of ski bums that enjoy playing classic rock, folk, grunge, reggae, and more whenever Gibson can make the trip down to the Eastern Sierra.

A singer, songwriter, and guitar/mandolin player, he has performed at numerous California bluegrass festivals, such as the Grass Valley Bluegrass Festival, Kings River Bluegrass Festival, Strawberry Music Festival, and more.

Distant Brewing 568 Old Mammoth Road, Mammoth Lakes, CA, United StatesGiacomo Timbrello, hailing from the city of Los Angeles, is an up-and-coming music producer/artist with expertise in arranging, sound design, and mixing. Armed with a guitar and a loop pedal, Giacomo is an amazingly talented artist that we here at Distant are stoked to have as a regular on the line-up!
From the beginning, Giacomo has always harnessed a strong and deep connection with music. He began piano and guitar lessons at the age of ten and began composing music at the age of fifteen. During his time at the acclaimed Berklee College of Music, Giacomo has developed a further understanding of music composition and production. At Berklee, Giacomo’s studies range from the Art of Counterpoint / Tonal Harmony to Studio Technologies to DAW Writing & Composition.
Live music at Distant Brewing in Mammoth Lakes will always be free! Bring your family, bring some friends, and enjoy a cold beer with free live music at Distant Brewing.
We host live music most Thursday’s and Sunday’s and open mic night every Monday. Live music will start at 6 or 7pm, and run ’til 9, depending on the artist.
