Distant Brewing in Mammoth Lakes hosts an open mic night every Monday night, all year long! We have guitars, amps, drums, mics, keyboards and anything else you need to get yourself up on the stage! Bring yourself, bring a friend or bring a group to help you live out your Rockstar dreams!
Open mic begins at 6pm with a sign-up sheet at the bar and goes until at least 9pm depending on the turn-out and the vibes of the night. Our open mic is self-hosted, meaning that we don’t have a main MC that directs the night, rather it takes the first brave soul to start off the night and we have our sign-up sheet to loosely direct the night. Please let the bartenders know if you have any questions or concerns or need help with the gear.
Artists, please keep your set to about 3-4 songs if there are others signed up behind you. We don’t wanna tell you how to do your job, but the more recognizable the song, the more crowd interaction you’ll get, guaranteed! Also, please be respectful of our equipment, we’ve provided it for you so you don’t have to lug gear in and out, and we want to keep it all in good condition for the next act. Thank you!
