The Bodleys trio of Wasyl Bodnar, John Stradley, and Ash St. Pierre have been three intrepid Eastern Sierra travelers for nearly a decade; however, fate intervened this year. Typically, the trio makes road trips to Mammoth Lakes to perform during the Memorial and Labor Day weekends, but a Shanghai, China, trade show insinuated itself, and rhythm guitarist Bodnar is to be spirited away to the Far East on Memorial Day weekend.

Fear not, far flung Bodleys fans, for the ensemble is booked to return to Distant Brewing from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M., on Sunday, August 31, 2025, to offer up its eclectic blend of 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s blues, country, folk, and rock on Distant’s spacious stage. The ensemble has had a long association with Distant and its progenitor, Black Doubt Brewing Company. Saint Billy Bodley, the former name of The Bodleys, was the first talent to perform in BDBC’s intimate performance space.
